UFC 125 Gambling - Leben vs. Stann

UFC gambling fans will have their choice of two big name contenders in the middleweight class that looks to be one of the most even UFC 125 betting matchups on the main card.

The Brian Stann versus Chris Leben middleweight bout is scheduled to start at 11:30 PM ET on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The bout will be on pay per view.  Sports-Gambling opened with Leben as a -165 favorite and with Stann as a +135 dog.  Be sure and open your account for an outstanding New Year’s Day evening of mixed martial arts excitement.

Stann is coming off his first ever bout in the middleweight division which was a submission triangle choke win over Mike Massenzio at the 3:10 mark of the third round.  The bout took place on August 1 at UFC Live in San Diego.

Stann is an appealing figure in that he played football at the United States Naval Academy and served in the Marine Corps as an officer upon graduation.  He was awarded the Silver Star, which is the third highest award for battlefield valor.

He received special mention by President Bush for his service and heroism.  He has been involved in ultimate fighting since leaving the service in May of 2008.  Stann fights out of Scranton, PA.
