UFC Betting Odds - UFC 129 from Toronto April 30th

UFC betting odds fans are eagerly anticipating one of the biggest events of the year as the welterweight championship will headline the UFC 129 odds card.

A big draw for UFC 129 is in fact that welterweight championship bout as current champion Georges St Pierre will take on Jake Shields in something of a home field advantage as St Pierre is a Canadian that will enjoy enormous crowd support.

The championship excitement doesn’t end there however as the featherweight title will also be on the line with a Canadian challenger, Mark Hominick, taking on the current champ Jose Aldo.

St. Pierre opened at Sports-Gambling as a -500 UFC betting favorite for the title bout while Shields opened as a +300 dog. The bout is scheduled to take place at 11:59 PM ET.

Also opened at Sports-Gambling as a -420 favorite while Hominick opened as a +330 dog. Fight time is scheduled for 11:30 PM ET.

There are two light heavyweight bouts on the main card as Vladimir Matyushenko will take on Jason Brilz and Randy Couture will matchup with Lyoto Machida.

Machida opened as a -350 UFC online betting favorite over Couture as it is a bout that features two of the biggest and most respected names on the circuit.

Also on the main card is a lightweight bout between Canada’s Mark Bocek and Ben Henderson.

The two preliminary bouts on Spike TV will have an American vs. Canadian flavor and both come from the welterweight class.

Nate Diaz of the USA will take on Rory MacDonald of Canada and then Canada’s Sean Pierson will matchup against Jake Ellenberger.
