UFC Betting Odds - UFC 129 Features 2 Title Bouts
UFC betting odds fans will have a pair of Canadians fighting on their home soil in those title bouts to add to the excitement and intrigue with the UFC 129 odds.

The welterweight championship will headline the UFC betting card as defending champion Georges St Pierre of Canada will face challenger Jake Shields of the United States. St Pierre opened at Sports-Gambling as a -500 favorite with Shields as a +300 dog. Fight time is set for 11:59 PM ET.
The featherweight championship will feature Jose Aldo of Brazil as he will defend his title against Mark Hominick of Canada. Aldo opened at Sports-Gambling as a -420 favorite with Hominick as a +330 dog with fight time set for 11:30 PM ET.
St Pierre won the welterweight title in December of 2007 with a win over Matt Hughes at UFC 79 and has successfully defended the title in 5 consecutive bouts heading into this matchup with Shields.
His last bout was on December 11, 2010 with a win by unanimous decision over Josh Koscheck. St Pierre has a career record of 21-2 and has not lost since November 18, 2006 when he was defeated by Matt Serra for the welterweight belt.
Shields has a UFC online betting record of 26-4 and was one of the top members of Strikeforce before making the transition to UFC. He is coming off a split decision win over Martin Kampmann on October 23 which was for the right to take on St Pierre for the title belt.
Aldo has a record of 18-1 and was the WEC welterweight champion before moving over to UFC. Hominick has a record of 9-2 and enters action with the UFC betting odds as another veteran from the WEC. Aldo is coming off a knockout win over Manvel Gamburyan. He is coming off a win over George Roop on January 22 for the right to take on Aldo.
