UFC Betting - Griffin vs. Franklin

Griffin has a career record of 17-6 and stands at 6-3, 205 pounds.  Griffin is one of the most well balanced and rounded fighters in the game and has exceptional grappling ability while also being know as a fighter that leaves everything that he has in the octagon.

Franklin enters this bout with the UFC126 betting odds with a record of 28-5.  Also known as “Ace” he stands at 6-1 and 205 pounds.  Franklin is a superb striker and is also one of the most well rounded fighters in the sports.

Griffin is coming off a split decision win over Tito Ortiz on November 21, 2009 at UFC 106 in Las Vegas.

The win snapped a 2 bout losing streak.  Griffin won the UFC light heavyweight championship on July 5, 2008 at UFC 86 as he defeated Quinton Jackson but he lost the belt in his very next bout at UFC 92 on December 27, 2008 as he suffered a technical knockout defeat to Rashad Evans at the 2:46 mark of the 3rd round.

He also lost his following fight to Anderson Silva at UFC101 on August 8, 2009 as the again lost on a technical knockout at the 3:23 mark of the 1st round.

Franklin enters action with the UFC 126 odds coming off a knockout win over Chuck Liddell at the 4:55 mark of the 1st round at UFC 115 on June 12, 2010.

Franklin is a past middleweight champion from 2005-2006 and fought for the title in that UFC betting division as late as 2007 before switching to the light heavyweight class, where he has won 3 out of 5 matchups since converting.  Franklin is a southpaw that fights out if Cincinnati, Ohio and has been involved in ultimate fighting since 1999.
