UFC 130 Betting - Jackson vs. Hamill Saturday Night

UFC 130 betting action will take place on Saturday, May 28 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with a total of 5 bouts on the main UFC online betting card.

The light heavyweight bout between Quinton Jackson and Matt Hamill is scheduled to start at 10:35 PM ET and can be seen on pay per view.  Sports Gambling opened with Jackson as a -300 favorite and Hamill as a +220 dog.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has a career record of 31-8 while Matt “The Hammer” Hamill has a career record of 11-2.  Both fighters are at 6 foot 1 inch and 205 pounds.  Jackson is well known for his wrestling, strength, and slamming ability while Hamill’s strengths are at boxing and wrestling.

Jackson will of course be one of the biggest names on the board with the UFC 130 odds.  Jackson is from Memphis, TN but fights out of Irvine, CA with the Wolfslair MMA Academy.

He has been involved in mixed martial arts since 1999.  Jackson has actually lost 2 out of his last 5 bouts and is coming of a win by split decision over Lyoto Machida at UFC 123 on November 20, 2010.  It was a nice bounce back win for Jackson as he was coming off a unanimous decision defeat against Rashad Evans at UFC 114 on May 29, 2010.

Jackson is best known for his UFC light heavyweight championship which was clinched at UFC 71 on May 26, 2007 as he scored a technical knockout win with the UFC betting line over Chuck Liddell.  He successfully defended the title in one bout before losing the belt to Forrest Griffin in a unanimous decision at UFC 86 on July 5, 2008.

Hamill is riding a 5 bout winning streak as he is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tito Ortiz on October 23, 2010 at UFC 121.   Hamill hails from Loveland, Ohio and fights out of Utica, New York.

Hamill enters UFC 130 betting action as the top contender in the light heavyweight division.  Hamill is an inspirational story as he was born deaf and is the subject of an upcoming movie that documents his early life and wrestling career.
