UFC 116 Betting - Lesnar vs. Carwin July 3

Lesnar was highly critical of Canada and its national health care system and was outspoken in his opposition to the US Health Reform legislation that was passed in 2010.

Lesnar confirmed that he was suffering from mononucleosis as well as a serious case of diverticulitis, which is an intestinal disorder that required surgery.

While Lesnar was recuperating an interim Heavyweight title bout between Carwin and Frank Mir took place at UFC 111 with Carwin winning on a knockout in the first round to set up this epic UFC 116 betting matchup.

Lesnar has a UFC gambling record of 4 wins and 1 loss with 2 wins by knockout, 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  His 1 defeat was by submission.  He last fought on July 11, 2009 and scored a technical knockout over Mir in the 2nd round.

Carwin has a career record of 12 wins and 0 losses with 7 wins by knockout and 5 wins by submission.  His interim title win over Mir was his last bout.  All of his bouts have been finished in the first round.

This Heavyweight title bout is being touted as the biggest in the history of the Ultimate Fighting series.  Lesnar will be motivated to prove that he is fully back and the champion for some time to come while Carwin wants to remove the “interim” tag from his championship title and be considered the legitimate belt winner.
