UFC 115 odds excitement will also feature two heavyweight bouts on the main UFC 115 betting card along with a pair of welterweight bouts.
UFC 115 gambling fans will wager on the fourth ever ultimate fighting event to be held in Canada. UFC 113 was the most recent in Montreal. The event sold out within 30 minutes which was an all time record for the series. The fights will be staged at General Motors Place which is the home of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks.
Liddell was originally to be matched up with Tito Ortiz in a UFC 115 odds pairing of former light heavyweight champions but Franklin instead drew the opportunity. Both fighters are Americans.
The Liddell versus Ortiz matchup would have been the third fight between the two, and it is still hoped that they will face each other down the line in the future as it is one of the hottest rivalries in the series.
The UFC line will include a heavyweight matchup between Mirko Filipovic of Croatia and Patrick Barry of the United States. The other heavyweight bout will be between American Ben Rothwell and Gilbert Yvel, a Dutchman.
In welterweight action Paulo Thiago of Brazil will take on Martin Kampmann of Denmark. The other welterweight matchup will be Carlos Condit of the United States going up against Rory MacDonald of Canada.
There will also be a pair of preliminary matchups on the UFC 115 odds board that can be seen on Spike TV as four American lightweights will go at it with Tyson Griffin matched up with Evan Dunham and Mac Danzig facing Matt Wiman.
Liddell and Franklin are mixes martial arts legends in their own right and will make for one of the most attractive bouts on the UFC 115 wager card. They are looking to get back into contention for the light heavyweight championship and have what it takes to do it. A brutal war is expected between the two.
