Teaser Bets

Teaser bets and Vegas teasers are gambling wagers that add extra points to sides or totals. Teaser bets are popular for NFL and NBA gambling.

The sports betting odds for teaser bets are determined by the number of points by which each sports betting spread is moved and the number of teams included in the teaser. In order to better understand online sports betting with teasers it will be useful to consider a specific online sports betting example.

Imagine a scenario in which New England is favored by 7 points in one game and Chicago is favored by 10 points in a second game. If you choose to use a seven point sports betting teaser, then the New England point spread would be reduced to a pick and the Chicago spread would be reduced to -3.

Just as in sports betting with parlays, all of the plays involved in your sports betting teaser must win in order for the teaser to win. In other words, using the example above, New England would have to win outright and Chicago would have to win by more than three points for the teaser to win.

Special Teasers
Sports betting on special teasers can involve two, three, or four different teams. As you can see in the chart below, your online sports betting with special teasers can include both football and basketball match ups. Each selection in a sports betting teaser receives extra points.
