Sports Book Gambling - Celtics Stun Cavs to Make East Finals

Sports book gambling handicappers are eagerly anticipating the Eastern Conference Finals on line sports gambling matchup between the Orlando and Boston.

Sports book gambling excitement and anticipation continues to grow as both teams have stunned the on line sports gambling favorite Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs the past two years.

Last year the Orlando Magic emerged out of nowhere to stun the basketball betting world when they upset the number one seeded Cavaliers, who were prohibitive favorites to win the East and challenge the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

This year the Boston Celtics upended the top seeded Cavs in another massive sports book gambling upset.  Boston dominated the final three games of their series against Cleveland after falling behind 2-1 in games to start.

Boston was the NBA World Champion for the 2007-08 season and was considered a strong contender  by everyone betting on basketball in last year’s playoffs before Kevin Garnett went down to injury right before post season play began.  Boston is healthy again this year and figures to give Orlando all they can handle.

Boston’s recipe for sports book gambling success in the playoffs has been their outstanding defense and that will need to continue against the Magic, who are also playing exceptional post season defense.

Boston has held the Miami Heat and Cleveland to 91.7 points per game in post season play so far entering their series with Orlando.  Coach Doc Rivers said its obvious what it takes for Boston to continue its success.

“There’s really no secrets,” said Rivers.  “We don’t rely on one guy anymore; we don’t even rely on two or three.  We just keep looking for the right place to go.”

So far Rajon Rondo has been phenomenal in the post season with 18 points per game and 122 assists in the post season.  Garnett is averaging 17.6 points per game in the NBA betting playoffs with 8.3 rebounds per game.  He will be a key component in the Celtics matching up with Orlando and their superstar big man Dwight Howard.

Veteran guard Ray Allen has also been important with 17.4 points per game.  Paul Pierce adds to the Boston balance with 16.3 points per game.  Boston is 8-3 against the spread in post season action this year.
