Sports Gambling on Cavaliers vs. Hawks

Sports gambling will turn its attention on May 9 to game three of the NBA playoff series between sportsbook favorite Cleveland and Atlanta.

Sports gambling fans have already made it clear with their sportsbook dollars that they consider the Cleveland Cavaliers to be one of the favorites to go all the way.  Cleveland certainly has a ton of sports gambling credibility as a favorite on the sportsbook board.

They were one of the most profitable basketball gambling commodities on the board this year and have maintained that level of excellence in the post season.  The Cleveland Cavaliers had a 2008-09 regular season sports gambling mark of 66-16 straight up and 50-32 against the spread.

Despite their status as the top sports gambling seed in the eastern conference and having the NBA’s best player in LeBron James, the Cavaliers still got the cash on a consistent basis.

In the first round of NBA playoff action Cleveland continued their sports gambling success with a four game sweep over the Detroit Pistons in which they covered the spread in each game and in dramatic fashion.

Cleveland entered this second round series against Atlanta as one of the hottest teams on the board as they had paid off sports gambling fans in eight straight games!  The Atlanta Hawks have gone from being a sports gambling surprise in the 2008 playoffs to being a respected team for 2009.

Atlanta was 47-35 straight up in the regular season and was 43-38-1 against the spread.  The Hawks earned a thrilling seven-game win in their opening round series against the Miami Heat.  The Hawks covered the sports gambling spread in four out of those seven games.

James is an elite player that cannot be matched.  In the regular season he led Cleveland in scoring with 28.4-points per game.  James also led in assists with 7.2-per game and even rebounds with 7.6-per game.  Just for fun he also led the Cavs in field goal percentage, steals, and blocks!

In the playoffs he has only gotten better.  Against Detroit he averaged 32.0-points per game while cleaning the glass with 11.2-rebounds per game.  Atlanta will certainly have all that they can handle against James but will have a sellout crowd backing them in their efforts! is your home for the entire NBA Playoff lineup all the way to The Finals.
