Sports Gambling - New Year's Eve Offers Great Bowling

Sports gambling handicappers will have plenty of attractive gambling sports options on New Year’s Eve with a total of 5 bowl games to choose from.

Sports gambling fans will have the Armed Forces, Sun, Texas, Insight, and Chick-fil-A-Bowls to select from to make for a great gambling sports day to end 2009. The Armed Forces Bowl looks to be a sports gambling shoot out as two explosive offensive teams will hook up in a gambling sports matchup between Houston and Air Force.

Houston already has impressed gamblers with two huge payouts with the sports gambling odds in straight up wins over Big 12 teams Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.  The Sun Bowl will feature an intriguing sports gambling matchup between Oklahoma and resurgent Stanford.

It was a disappointing season for Oklahoma as they finished 7-5 after expecting to be in the BCS title hunt.  Stanford, however, was one of the biggest sports gambling surprises of the season as they finished 8-4 and ranked 19th.  Stanford features Heisman Trophy runner-up Toby Gerhart in the backfield.

The Texas Bowl will feature another sports gambling matchup with plenty of offense as well as contrasts as Navy will meet up with Missouri.  Navy runs the option, which frustrates opposing defenses, and is coming off a solid 9-4 season.

Mizzou runs the spread about as well as anyone and is coming off an 8-4 season and will be making its fifth consecutive sports gambling bowl appearance.  The Insight Bowl will feature a sports gambling matchup of 6-6 teams as Minnesota of the Big Ten will take on Iowa State of the Big 12.

The Chick-fil-A-Bowl will be a sports gambling matchup of name brand power teams as number 12 Virginia Tech will take on up and coming Tennessee.  Tennessee came within a blocked field goal of beating top ranked Alabama on the road and finished 7-5 after going 4-1 down the stretch.

Tech finished 9-3 and had what was considered a disappointing season after winning the ACC last year. Tech also lost to Alabama this year 34-24 on opening day.
