These two teams met two years ago in the postseason and it was a great on line sports gambling series. Sports book gambling favors Cleveland in this series against Boston.
The Cavaliers have the MVP of the league in LeBron James and a better supporting cast than they had two years ago. The Celtics still have the big three of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce and now they have Rajon Rondo who can impact on line sports gambling odds.
The Celtics were able to defeat Miami in the first round of sports book gambling odds in large part because they defended well against Dwyane Wade. Now Boston has to contain LeBron. The Celtics let Wade do damage but they didn’t let his supporting cast do anything.
They may not be able to do that with LeBron. “LeBron is a different beast,” said Garnett. “Obviously he has a better cast than D-Wade, who is one of the best 1-on-1 players, as is LeBron too, but he probably defers to his teammates a little bit ... in that he can turn around 35 [points] with 8 boards and 9 assists. That means he’s all-around. And that doesn’t even mention the steals or blocks.”
The Celtics won the regular season finale between the two teams 117-113 in sports book gambling results but James had 42 points in that game. The Celtics don’t want to get into that type of basketball betting game again. While LeBron gets the attention in sports book gambling it may be the bench players who decide the series.
Boston head coach Doc Rivers has said that Cleveland’s Anderson Varejao was the best player in the regular season series between the two teams. “We need somebody to match Varejao’s energy.
The two games they won, he was the best player in those two games. He dominated those games with his energy and effort. We need somebody to shut him down.” Rivers said.
Boston is the underdog in sports book gambling but this is a Celtics team that won the title just two years ago. “Orlando is the defending champions of the East,” said Rivers. “I don’t know how Cleveland has been anointed [as East kingpin] already, they have to earn it. And we want to earn it. Orlando wants to earn it.”
