Sports Book Gambling - Dallas Paces the Southwest

Sports book gambling handicappers have been surprised at the Dallas Mavericks on line sports gambling dominance of the NBA Southwest Division race.

Sports book gambling fans have seen Dallas take a commanding lead in the Southwest Division on line sports gambling race over the second place San Antonio Spurs. All five teams in the Southwest Division were in the sports book gambling race for Western Conference playoff spots and make up what many consider to be the top on line sports gambling division in all of pro basketball.

Dallas had a sports gambling online record of 42-21 straight up and 26-36-1 against the spread.  The Mavericks were a truly horrible sports book gambling commodity at home as they had a record of 7-23-1 against the spread.  The Mavericks were proven to be an overlay as favorites with a mark of 16-27-1 against the spread.

Dallas had their best sports book gambling success on the road with a mark of 19-13 against the spread.  The veteran San Antonio Spurs had a sports book gambling record of 35-24 straight up but, like the Mavericks that did not translate into profits as they were 28-30-1 against the spread.

San Antonio was a weak team on the road with a mark of 11-16 against the spread.  The Memphis Grizzlies were one of the surprise teams in the NBA this year as they were one of the worst teams in the league for 2008-09.  Memphis had a sports book gambling record of 32-30 straight up and 34-28 against the spread.

Zach Randolph was a big reason for the resurgence of Memphis as he was averaging 20.9 points per game.  Memphis’ lack of success last year has helped keep them as a solid value as the public has not yet fully bought into their improvement.

The Houston Rockets had a sports book gambling record of 30-30 straight up but just 27-33 against the spread.  Houston was especially weak as a favorite with a mark of 12-19 against the spread.

The New Orleans Hornets had a sports book gambling mark of 31-32 straight up and 30-32-1 against the spread.  New Orleans was a decent dog at 20-15-1 against the spread.
