Gambling in sports with the Chiefs for 2009 saw a sports book gambling record of 4-12 straight up and 7-9 against the spread with a team that was weak on both sides of the line. Kansas City had a gambling in sports rank of 25th overall in the NFL for offense and an even worse sports book gambling rank of 30th overall for defense.
The Chiefs will have new coordinators on both ends for the 2010 online sports gambling season. Charlie Weiss will serve as offensive coordinator for the Chiefs in the upcoming gambling in sports season.
Weiss made his reputation as an offensive guru with the New England Patriots where he was offensive coordinator during their Super Bowl winning years. Weiss, however, is coming off an unsuccessful stop at Notre Dame where he served as head coach since the 2005 gambling in sports season.
Romeo Crennel will serve as defensive coordinator for the Chiefs next gambling in sports season. Crennel was the defensive coordinator on those Patriot Super Bowl teams before he also failed as a head coach with the Cleveland Browns.
Weiss and Crennel bring an additional New England flavor to the Chiefs in their efforts to rebuild and improve their gambling in sports status. Both worked with Kansas City general manger Scott Pioli at New England. Pioli is optimistic that these coaching additions will help the Chiefs improve for the 2010 gambling in sports season.
“We feel a lot more comfortable, feel a lot more energized,” said Pioli. “It feels like there’s more stability.”
In addition to the coordinators the Chiefs have brought in additional new blood to fill out their gambling in sports coaching staff with Anthony Pleasant at defensive line, Bernie Parmalee at tight ends, and Chiefs legendary Hall of Famer Emmitt Thomas at defensive backs.
Pioli and head coach Toddy Haley wanted the strongest possible staff for 2010 and it looks as if they achieved their objective.
