Anaheim had a record of 41-28-3-2 with the hockey betting odds and was 18-16-2-1 on the road. The Ducks were 18-19 under the total in away games.  Anaheim was a good offensive team that ranked 11th in the NHL for goal scoring but their defense ranked 21st for goals against.

A big problem was goaltender Jonas Hiller missing 15 games due to vertigo issues but he has finally returned to the lineup.  Hiller had a 2.50 goals against average with a save percentage of .925.

Right winger Corey Perry led the Ducks attack with 42 goals and 41 assists while fellow right wing Teemu Selanne had 25 goals and 45 assists.  Another right wing, Bobby Ryan, had 32 goals and 31 assists.  Anaheim has been playing its best hockey as of late for their playoff push.

Colorado had a record of 28-37-7-1 and was 13-19-3-1 on the road.  The Avalanche went over the hockey betting line total in 19 of their 36 away games.  In the month of March Colorado got the money in just 2 of their first 10 games with 8 of those games going over the total.

Defense has been the downfall of Colorado as they ranked 30th in the NHL for goals against.  It has been a catastrophic fall for Colorado after their surprise playoff run last year.

Anaheim has dominated this head to head series with 14 wins in the last 16 meetings between these two teams including payouts in the last 5 consecutive matchups.  The Ducks and Avs have gone over the total in 7 of their last 10 meetings.

Sports-Gambling had Anaheim as a +5000 choice to win the Stanley Cup while Colorado was a +50000 long shot to win the NHL playoffs this year.
