Dallas had a record of 38-25-4-6 with the hockey betting odds and was 18-14-1-1 on the road.  The Stars have struggled as of late however with just1 payout in 5 games from March 13 through March 23.

Dallas has gone over the total in 18 of their 34 away games.  The Stars ranked a most ordinary 16th for both scoring offense and scoring defense.  Dallas was led by center Brad Richards 25 goals and 44 assists while left winger Loui Eriksson had 34 goals and 40 assists.

Phoenix had a record of 41-24-7-4 with the hockey betting line and was 19-12-4-2 at home against the Stars.  Phoenix went under the total in 16 of their 37 games as a host.  The Coyotes have been in excellent form as of late with 8 payouts in 10 games from March 5 through March 24 as they went under the total in the last 5 games of that span.

The Coyotes have shown an improved offense this year as they ranked 10th in the NHL for goal scoring with a balanced attack that lacked a 20 goal scorer in the lineup.

Phoenix has had the long term edge over Dallas with 10 payouts in the last 14 meetings between the teams including 3 of the last 4 matchups.  Dallas did win the last game between the two teams 3-2 at Phoenix on March 1.  This series has gone under the total in 6 of the last 8 meetings including 3 straight.

Sports-Gambling had Dallas as a +3000 selection to win the Stanley Cup while the Coyotes were a +1800 choice to win the NHL playoffs and hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup.
