NHL playoffs fans have seen the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks suffer from the salary cap limits as many of their key assets in last year’s run with the hockey playoffs are gone.

Vancouver blew away the rest of the field to take the top spot in the Western Conference with a record of 54-19-4-5 with the hockey betting odds.  The Canucks were 27-10-3-1 on the road and went over the total in 16 out of their 41 away games.

Center Jonathan Toews led the Hawks with 32 goals and 44 assists while center Patrick Sharp had 34 goals. Corey Crawford stole the top goaltender gig from Marty Turco with a 2.30 goals against average and 33 wins with 4 shutouts.
