NHL Playoffs - Canadiens at Bruins

NHL playoffs handicappers were also stunned by the Boston Bruins last year as they were the first team since 1975 to blow a 3-0 series lead in the hockey playoffs as they were upset by the Philadelphia Flyers.

Boston had a record of 46-25-5-6 with the hockey betting line and was 22-13-3-3 at home.  The Bruins went over the total in just 15 out of their 41 home games.  The Bruins were impressive on both ends of the ice this year as they ranked 5th in the NHL for goal scoring and 2nd for goals against average.

Left winger Milan Lucic had 30 goals to pace the Bruins while center David Krejci had 13 goals and 49 assists while Tim Thomas had 35 wins in goal with a 2.00 goals against average and 9 shutouts.

Heading into this NHL playoffs series Montreal had defeated Boston in 9 of the last 12 matchups in this head to head series with just 1 of the last 8 games between the two teams going under the total.  Boston had won 8 of their last 12 home games against the Habs with just 3 of the last 12 meetings between the teams in Boston going under the total.
