Hockey Bet: Nashville Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Starting goaltender Dan Ellis had 7 wins and a 3.02 goals against average along with a .898 save percentage to open the hockey bet season.  The Carolina Hurricanes opened the hockey betting season with a mark if 8-7-1-1 straight up and 9-8 against the hockey lines.

Carolina was ranked 19th overall on the hockey bet offensive stat charts while ranking 19th on defense.  The Hurricanes were 23rd on the power play but a solid 11th on penalty kills to start the hockey bet campaign.

Ray Whitney, the veteran, led the Hurricanes in scoring to start the hockey bet season and Rod Brind’Amour was the leading goal scorer and power play ace.  Cam Ward was a solid bright spot on goal with a goals against average of 2.88 and save percentage of .908 to start the hockey bet season.

Carolina started the hockey bet season with a home record of just 3-4.  The Canes went over the hockey bet total 8 out of 17 games.
