The Philadelphia Eagles have a record of 3-2 straight up and 2-3 with the NFL odds to share the lead in the NFC East.  The Eagles are coming off a 27-24 win at San Francisco on Sunday night as 3 point road dogs.

Former starting quarterback Kevin Kolb filled in for the man that took his job away, Michael Vick, who was out with a rib injury and is questionable for this game against his former team.  Kolb passed for 253 yards and a touchdown and did a nice Vick impression when he picked up a first down by scrambling for a run on a 3rd and 18 conversion.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown and the defense kept the 49ers in check most of the game and returned a fumble for a TD.  McCoy has 365 yards on the season and Philadelphia ranks 7th in the NFL for scoring.  The Eagles rank 13th in the NFL for total defense.

The Atlanta Falcons lead the NFC South with a record of 4-1 straight up and 3-2 with the NFL lines.  Atlanta is a well balanced team that ranks 7th for total offense and 2nd for points allowed.  The Falcons defense was the difference in stealing a win at Cleveland last week 20-10.

The Falcons offense is led by quarterback Matt Ryan, who has passed for 1165 yards already this year.  Michael Turner has rushed for 421 yards and Roddy White has 463 yards receiving.

Vick will certainly do whatever he has to do in order to answer the bell for this game but Kolb proved he is up to the job if needed.  Atlanta has not lost since opening day and is playing the better football.

Atlanta has paid out in just 2 out of their last 11 NFL gambling matchups with the Eagles while the favorite has gotten the money in 6 out of the last 8 games in this series.
