NFL football gambling expectations remain high for the Baltimore Ravens as they are among the betting on NFL football favorites to win the AFC championship.

The Baltimore Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with a telecast on CBS that is set to begin at 1:05 PM ET.  Sports-Gambling opened with Baltimore as a 9.5 point favorite and with a total of 43.  Cincinnati scored a 15-10 home payout over Baltimore on September 19 in what proved to be the high point of their season.

The Ravens must win this game to have a shot at winning the AFC North as they are tied with Pittsburgh for the top spot.  They can also have a shot at a first round bye for the post season and home field for their first playoff game.

Cincinnati has a record of 4-11 straight up and 6-9 with the football odds as they have gone over the total in 8 games.  Cincinnati is actually playing better football as they are riding a two game winning streak after their 34-20 home payout over San Diego last week as they killed off the Chargers playoff hopes.

The Bengals have slipped badly on defense and rank 25th for points allowed while ranking 22nd for offensive scoring, which has to be a major disappointment after the money they spent last offseason in the hopes of improving the unit.  Carson Palmer has had a rough year with an 82.7 QB rating and a 25/18 TD/INT ratio.

Terrell Owens proved to be a solid pickup as he is the leading receiver on the Bengals with 983 yards and 9 TD’s.  Chad Ochocinco has proven to be more noise and hype than substance as he has had a very average season.

Baltimore has is 11-4 straight up and 8-6-1 with the odds NFL while going under the total 8 times.  The Ravens got the money in a 20-10 win at Cleveland last week.  Joe Flacco has had a fine season with a 94.6 QB rating and a 25/9 TD/INT ratio while Ray Rice has also been a key NFL football gambling asset with 1146 yards rushing to balance out the attack.
