NFL Odds - Colts at Cardinals

NFL odds players have an attractive Sunday Night football gambling showcase of two potential super bowl teams as the Cardinals host the Colts.

NFL odds players have seen Indianapolis start off the season at 2-0 while the Cardinals have split their first two football gambling matchups. NFL odds makers installed the Colts as 1.5-point favorites with a football gambling total of 48 to open the week.

The Colts are 2-0 straight up and 1-1 against the NFL odds.  Last week the Colts beat Miami 27-23 as 3-point Monday Night road favorites.  Quarterback Peyton Manning and Pierre Garcon hooked up for a 48 yard touchdown pass with 3:29 remaining in the game to get the cash.

The Colts rank 3rd overall against the NFL odds for passing yards but just 29th overall for rushing yards.  It is much the same on the defensive side of the line as Indianapolis ranks 1st overall on defense for passing yards allowed but 30th overall against the NFL odds for rushing yards allowed.

The Arizona Cardinals are 1-1 both straight up and against the NFL odds.  Last week the Cardinals scored a 31-17 win at Jacksonville as 3-point road chalks.  Quarterback Kurt Warner threw for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.  The Cardinals rank 9th overall in scoring against the NFL odds and 13th in points allowed.

Warner had a tough opener but last week improved his overall quarterback rating to 95.6.  Indianapolis has been a strong September team with a mark of 15-7 against the spread while the Cardinals are 7-3 against the board in September action.

The Colts have covered just 2 out of their last 12 games when coming off a point spread cover while Arizona has covered 6 of their last 7 games overall.  With Manning going up against Warner fans get one of the better quarterbacking duels available on the NFL odds board.

While there are many skeptics about the ability of both teams to maintain last year’s level of play they have each shown resiliency so far in the young season.  This looks like an even matchup of top playoff contenders that should go down to the wire.  Whoever makes the least mistakes should get the cash.
