NFL Gambling - Raiders at Giants

NFL gambling fans will have what looks to be an inter-conference mismatch to handicap against the NFL betting odds as the Giants host the hapless Raiders.

NFL gambling fans haven’t lost a dime on the Giants so far against the NFL betting odds while the Raiders have broke even so far against the board but have dropped their last 2. The Oakland Raiders are arguably the most dysfunctional team in all of NFL gambling.

They have the worst quarterback in the game in their head coach is facing arrest for shattering the jaw of an assistant last August in a heated coaches meeting.  The Raiders are 1-3 straight up, 2-2 against the NFL betting odds, and have gone under the NFL gambling total in 3 out of 4 games.

Oakland’s only NFL gambling win was against the equally horrible Kansas City Chiefs in week 2.  Last week Oakland was beaten soundly by the Houston Texans 6-29 as 9-point road dogs.  The Raiders offense is one of the worst in NFL gambling and ranks 31st overall for points scored.

Quarterback JaMarcus Russell has been a catastrophe for the Raiders as he has an almost impossibly bad quarterback rating of 42.4 and a completion percentage of a pathetic 39.8%.  Russell has a 1 to 4 touchdown to interception ratio.  In last week’s NFL gambling loss to the Texans Russell was an inexplicable 12-33 for 128 yards.

The Raiders lost 3 fumbles in the defeat and were penalized 9 times.  Oakland could only manage 45 yards on the ground at Houston on 22 carries.  The New York Giants have a NFL gambling record of 4-0 straight up and 3-0-1 against the spread.  The Giants have a 2-1-1 over/under total mark.

Last week the Giants cruised against the Chiefs 27-17 and got the NFL gambling cover as 9-point road favorites.  The Giants are one of the better balanced teams in the NFL as they rank 6th in both scoring and points allowed.

Eli Manning was outstanding last week against KC as he threw for 292 yards and 3 touchdowns.  These two teams have combined to go under the total in 4 out of their last 5 head to head meetings.
