NFL Gambling on Colts at Bengals

NFL gambling will include an AFC intra-conference matchup of teams with identical preseason records against the NFL lines as Cincinnati hosts Indianapolis.

NFL gambling fans have seen the Colts and Bengals go 1-2 both straight up and against the NFL lines while going under the exhibition totals in 2 out of 3 games. Last week the Cincinnati Bengals lost to the St. Louis Rams 21-24 as 3-point home chalks as the game went over the total of 34. The Indianapolis Colts scored a 17-18 loss at Detroit as 3-point NFL gambling road chalks as the game stayed under the NFL lines total of 40.

The Indianapolis Colts are a veteran contending NFL gambling commodity that has not placed any emphasis on preseason games since Tony Dungy took over as coach.  New head coach Jim Caldwell was Dungy’s right hand man and has done nothing to change the Colts’ NFL gambling exhibition routine.

Indianapolis’ number one preseason goal is to escape from injuries to key players.  Starting quarterback Peyton Manning has thrown just 31 passes but looks to be in midseason form with a quarterback rating of 136.0.

The Colts rank 29th overall on the preseason NFL gambling charts for scoring but rank a respectable 9th for points allowed.  The Cincinnati Bengals entered the NFL gambling preseason without much optimism and a lot of questions and little has been done to change that.

The offense has been inconsistent as it ranks 10th overall in total yards but just 31st overall in scoring for the NFL gambling preseason.  The defense has had a solid showing as it ranks 10th in points allowed and 9th in total yards permitted.  JT O’Sullivan has had a nice NFL gambling preseason with a quarterback rating of 116.4.

Carson Palmer has struggled with a QB rating of 67.6 with just 11 passing attempts.  Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has 6 catches for 151 yards and a staggering 25.2 yards per catch average.  The Bengals are -5 in turnover ratio.

Cincinnati head coach Marvin Lewis could use a preseason win here to turn down the temp on his very hot seat for the regular season opener.
