NFL Betting on December Monday Night Football

NFL betting down the stretch in December for the Monday Night Football package on ESPN could very well offer some of the best values of the season against the NFL odds.

NFL betting that month will feature games with significant playoff implications and some probable do or die affairs against the NFL odds.  Monday Night NFL betting action for the month will begin on December 7 as the Green Bay Packers host the Baltimore Ravens in an inter-conference matchup that could have a significant impact on the playoff NFL odds.

While Green Bay would be the presumed favorite in this one playing at Lambeau in December the tough Ravens are certainly not intimidated by playing on the “Frozen Tundra” as they proved their NFL betting value last year in the cold.  Baltimore’s superior defense, in fact, could be the NFL betting advantage.

On December 14 a NFC west division NFL betting showdown will take place as the San Francisco 49ers host the Arizona Cardinals.  This one could be a NFL betting matchup not only for the division title but also for a wild card spot.

The Cardinals are defending champions of the NFC while the 49ers came on strong at the end of last year and have significant hopes of reaching the NFL betting playoffs.  On December 21 the Washington Redskins will host the New York Giants in a NFC east division showdown.

The Giants are still considered top contenders in the division while the Redskins are a questionable group that is highly inconsistent.  Washington has the NFL betting potential, however, to contend for the post season.

New York may have the superior defense but Washington’s was not bad and if they get their offense on par they may prove to be tough.  On December 28 the Monday Night package will have its finale and it looks like a great one from the NFC North as the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings.

ESPN has to be happy with this one as the Vikings and Bears are considered the top 2 teams in the division and this will likely have all kinds of playoff implications at stake.
