Football betting excitement is also growing for the St. Louis Rams as they scored an impressive win over Washington for their 2nd consecutive football gambling payout.

The St. Louis Rams will host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at 1:05 PM Eastern with a telecast on FOX.  Sports-Gambling opened with Seattle as a 1 point favorite and with a total of 38.5.

The St. Louis Rams scored a 30-16 win over the Washington Redskins last week as 4.5 point home dogs to improve their NFL betting record to 1-2 straight up and 2-1 against the spread with 2 of their 3 games going under the total.

The Rams have shown noticeable improvement under 2nd year coach Steve Spagnuolo and rookie quarterback Sam Bradford has been more up than down.  Spagnuolo was defensive coordinator of the Giants before taking the Rams job and St. Louis reflects that with a 9th place standing for points allowed.

The Seattle Seahawks upset the San Diego Chargers 27-20 as 3.5 home dogs to improve their NFL gambling record to 2-1 both straight up and against the spread.  Leon Washington was spectacular for Seattle as he ran back 2 kickoffs for touchdowns of 101 and 99 yards to spark the win.

Seattle ranks 29th in the NFL for offense and 28th for defense and it has been special teams in large part that have made the difference for Pete Carroll’s team.

Seattle has paid out in just 1 of their last 10 road games and has gone under the total in just 3 out of their last 12 games when coming off a win against the spread.  St. Louis has covered just 10 out of their last 31 home games and just 7 out of their last 22 games as a home dog.

The Rams have gone under the total in 7 out of their last 9 games that follow a straight up win.  Seattle has gotten the money in the last 6 consecutive football betting matchups with St. Louis and the favorite has also covered 6 consecutive times.  The two teams have gone under the total in just 1 out of their last 5 matchups at the Edward Jones Dome.
