Football betting handicappers were impressed with the 0-3 Buffalo Bills last week as their offense finally showed life in a football gambling loss at New England.

The Bills will host the Jets on Sunday and Sports-Gambling opened with the Jets as a 4.5 road favorite and with an over/under of 37.  Kickoff is at 1:05 PM Eastern and the game will be telecast on CBS.

The New York Jets are coming off a 31-23 NFL betting win and payout at Miami as 1 point road dogs to improve their record to 2-1 both straight up and against the spread with an over/under mark of 2-1.  Mark Sanchez continues to impress at quarterback after a bad opening game as he has a QB rating of 104.9 and is yet to be intercepted.

LaDainian Tomlinson is averaging 5.6 yards per carry.  The pass defense has been weak and ranks 27th and cornerback Darrelle Revis is doubtful for Sunday.

Buffalo is coming off a 38-30 loss at New England to fall to 0-3 straight up and 1-2 against the spread.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was so impressive in his first game at quarterback that the Bills decided to waive former starter Trent Edwards after the game.

Fitzpatrick passed for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Bills offense got moving for the first time this NFL gambling season.

The Jets are an alarming 4-10 against the spread after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game and have gone under the total in just 3 out of their last 13 conference games.  The Buffalo Bills are 5-12 against the spread versus teams with winning records and have dropped 8 out of their last 9 against the board as a home dog.

Buffalo has gone under the total in 9 out of their last 12 home games.  The underdog has an excellent long term football betting record in this head to head series with 20 payouts in the last 28 meetings.

Buffalo has gotten the money in 5 out of their last 7 games against the Jets.  The two teams have gone over the total in just 1 out of their last 6 meetings.
