These two teams have met the past two seasons against the preseason football odds with the Saints getting the cash each time. In 2007 New Orleans beat Cincinnati 27-19 as 3.5-point road dogs against the football odds as the game went over the total of 38.
In 2008 the Saints scored a 13-0 win over the Bengals as 3-point road chalks with the game going under the total of 41.5. The Saints certainly proved their commitment to improving the defense during the off season as their first three draft picks were all from that side of the line.
