Football Gambling - Seahawks at Chiefs

Football gambling will include an inter-conference matchup of preseason opposites to handicap against the odds NFL as Kansas City hosts Seattle.

Football gambling fans will have their choice of a Seattle team looking to rebound into contention against a Kansas City team looking to rebuild against the odds NFL.  The Seattle Seahawks are 2-0 both straight up and against the spread so far in the football gambling preseason.

They are 1-1 against the over/under odds NFL board.  Last week the Seahawks beat Denver 27-13 as 3-point home chalks as the game went over the total of 37.5.  The Kansas City Chiefs are 0-2 both straight up and against the spread in the football gambling preseason.

Both of the Chiefs preseason football gambling matchups have gone under the total.  Last week the Chiefs lost at Minnesota 13-17 as 3-point road dogs as the game went under the total.  The Seattle Seahawks have been erratic but successful in their first football gambling preseason under Jim Mora, Jr.

Seattle ranks 5th in scoring while ranking 30th in total yards.  The defense ranks 9th in points allowed while ranking 24th in total yards allowed.  The big news so far in the football gambling preseason out of Seattle is the play of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who was lost to injury last year.

Hasselbeck has an exhibition quarterback rating of 111.9 and a completion percentage of 68% with 2 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions.  Seneca Wallace, who played in place of Hasselbeck last year, has also looked good as he has a QB rating of 102.3.  The ground attack, however, has been abysmal.

Seattle’s top 3 ball carriers, Justin Forsett, Devin Moore, and TJ Duckett each have averages of under 3.2 yards per carry.

Kansas City’s new head coach Todd Haley has a huge challenge ahead of him as he took over one of the worst teams in football from last year and so far in the football gambling preseason the offense has not looked much better as it ranks 29th in scoring.

One bright spot has been quarterback Matt Cassel who has a QB rating of 92.9.  Receiver Dwayne Bowe has looked good in the football gambling preseason with 8 catches for 107 yards and a TD.
