Football betting fans have been treated well so far in the preseason by Green Bay while the Cardinals have not gotten the cash yet against the exhibition football odds. Green Bay is 2-0 both straight up and against the preseason football betting line with an even 1-1 split against the over/under football odds. Arizona is 0-2 both straight up and against the exhibition football betting board with both games having gone under the total.
Last week the Packers scored a 31-21 football betting payoff over the Buffalo Bills as 3-point home chalks with the game soaring over the total of 37.5. Arizona last week lost at home to the San Diego Chargers 6-17 as 3-point football betting chalks.
It has been a most impressive football betting preseason so far for the Packers as they rank 3rd in the NFL for points scored and 2nd overall for rushing yards. The much maligned Packer defense has also played well and ranks 3rd for points allowed and 7th for total yards allowed.
Aaron Rodgers has a preseason quarterback rating of an eye-popping 142.5 with a 68.4% completion ratio and 3 touchdown passes with 0 interceptions. Matt Flynn has been impressive in a backup role with a 97.4 QB rating with a 75% completion percentage.
Tyrell Sutton has been the leader out of the backfield with 140 yards on 27 carries and 1 touchdown. Ryan Grant has 71 yards on 16 carries and 2 touchdowns. The Packers are a whopping +6 in turnover ratio.
The Arizona Cardinals have been a near preseason football betting opposite of Green Bay thus far as they rank 31st overall in scoring. Arizona is -4 so far in turnover ratio for the preseason. Matt Leinart has been up and down during the football betting preseason as he has a 78 QB rating with a 58% completion ratio and 0 touchdown passes.
It was hoped Leinart would show better in preseason. He will continue to get plenty of snaps the rest of the summer.
