2009 NFL Mock Draft Backs and Receivers at Sports Gambling
2009 NFL mock draft experts consider Knowshon Moreno of Georgia as the top running back on the NFL draft betting board. Moreno is the second Bulldog slated as a top offensive player for the 2009 NFL mock draft as his teammate, quarterback Matthew Stafford, is ranked number 1 in NFL draft betting for that position.
Moreno ran for 1400 yards and 16 touchdowns last year and was only the second UGA back ever to rush for consecutive 1000 yard seasons. Moreno is entering the 2009 NFL mock draft 2 years early. Chris Wells of Ohio State is considered to be the second best running back in the 2009 NFL mock draft.
Wells ran for 1197 yards and 8 touchdowns last year and averaged 5.8 yards per carry for his career. The only point of concern with Wells is his durability. Donald Brown of Connecticut is listed as the third ranked running back for the 2009 NFL mock draft.
Brown had a phenomenal 2008 season with 2083 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was the only major college back to clear the 2000 yard mark last year. Turning our 2009 NFL mock draft attention to wide receivers we begin with Michael Crabtree of Texas Tech.
Crabtree’s resume is quite impressive as he has won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver in back-to-back seasons. Crabtree caught 97 passes last year for 1165 yards and 19 touchdowns. Right behind Crabtree is fellow Big 12 star Jeremy Maclin of Missouri.
Maclin adds the dimension of also being a top shelf kick returner and all around game breaker. Maclin has blinding speed and is coming out two years early for the 2009 NFL mock draft. He is the ultimate playmaker that can change a game all by himself.
Darrius Heyward-Bey of Maryland is the third ranked receiver for the 2009 NFL mock draft. He is explosive in his own right and lacked a great quarterback at Maryland to fully exploit his talents. He should become a household name in the NFL.
