NCAA gambling fans will have their choice of two exciting teams and one in UCF that is a legitimate NCAA football gambling bowl contender.

Kickoff is set for 8:05 PM Eastern and Sports-Gambling opened with Central Florida as a 12 point favorite.

The Alabama Birmingham Blazers have a record of 1-3 straight up and 2-2 with the NCAA odds.  UAB is coming off a 32-29 overtime loss at Tennessee of the SEC in which they got the money as 14 point dogs.  They have gone over the total 3 times this season.

The Blazers have a fine offense that is ranked 28th in the nation.  Quarterback Bryan Ellis leads a good pass attack with 777 yards.  Running back David Isabelle adds balance with a 5.5 yards per carry average while Pat Shed is averaging 7.7 yards per rush.  The defense is weak and ranks 97th for points allowed.

UAB’s only win this year was somewhat lucky as they beat Troy 34-33 on a 44 yard touchdown pass at the gun on September 18 as 3.5 point home dogs.

The Central Florida Knights have a record of 2-2 straight up and 3-1 with the NCAA lines.  UCF is coming off a 17-13 loss at Kansas State as 6.5 point dogs.  They led the Big 12 contending Wildcats 10-0 heading into the 4th quarter.

UCF’s other loss was a 28-21 home setback to ACC contender North Carolina State as they have played a tough non conference schedule.  Defense is the strength of Central Florida as they rank 10th in the country.

The offense has struggled and ranks 84th in scoring but is in the upper third for rushing with Ronnie Weaver and Jeff Godfrey both over 200 yards and 4.7 yards per carry on the season.  UCF was a bowl team last year and is a leading contender in Conference USA two win the East Division.

Central Florida is a dangerous NCAA gambling commodity in this set up with a record of 7-1 against the spread in their last 8 CUSA games and 6 consecutive payouts when coming off a straight up loss.  UCF has gone over the total in just 4 out of their last 18 home games.
