NCAA gambling excitement is higher than ever for this rivalry as the two teams are both ranked and undefeated heading into NCAA football gambling action on Saturday.

ABC will telecast the action set to kickoff at 3:30 PM Eastern.  Michigan opened at Sports-Gambling as a 4.5 point favorite.

The Michigan State Spartans have a record of 5-0 straight up and 3-2 with the NCAA odds.  The Spartans are coming off an impressive 34-24 home win over Wisconsin as 3 point dogs.  It was the second consecutive MSU win without the presence of Mark Dantonio who suffered a heart attack after a week 3 win over Notre Dame.

He missed last week’s game due to a newly discovered blood clot.  State ranks 23rd in total offense and 41st in defense including 20th against the rush, which is critical against Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson, a virtual X-Box imitator.

Spartan running backs Edwin Baker and Le’Veon Bell are both over 7 yards per carry and quarterback Kirk Cousins is showing marked improvement.

Robinson sparked Michigan to a 42-35 win at Indiana as 10 point chalks with 218 yards rushing with 2 TD’s and 277 yards passing for 3 TD’s.  He has an insane 906 yards rushing and 8 TD’s and 1008 yards passing.

Michigan is 5-0 straight up and 3-2 with the NCAA lines.  Their 102nd ranked defense continues to be the dark cloud over the program.

Michigan State has gotten the money in just 2 out of their last 10 games that followed a payout.  Michigan is just 5-16 against the spread in Big Ten Conference games.  The Spartans have been a good long term over play in totals on the road with a mark of just 16 out of their last 58 road games going under the number.

Michigan has gone over the total in 10 out of their last 14 games when coming off a straight up win.  These two teams have gone over the NCAA gambling total in 4 out of their last 5 meetings at Michigan and the road team has gotten the money in 5 out of the last 7 meetings.

The Spartans have won and covered both times against UM head coach Rich Rodriguez.
