NCAA football odds excitement will be high for Saturday’s all important matchup with the NCAA betting lines as Iowa will host Wisconsin.

The BCS standings have the Wisconsin Badgers ranked 13th and the Iowa Hawkeyes ranked 15th.  The winner of this game will have the inside track to the Big Ten Conference championship with Michigan State.

ABC will telecast this matchup with a kickoff time set for 3:30 PM Eastern and Sports-Gambling opened with Iowa as a 5.5 point home favorite.

The Wisconsin Badgers are coming off a most impressive 31-18 home win and payout against then number one ranked Ohio State as 3.5 point home dogs.  Wisconsin jumped out to a 21-0 lead and the upset was no accident.

Wisconsin now has a NCAA football gambling record of 6-1 straight up and 2-5 against the spread with just 2 of their games going under the total.  The Badgers feature the 12th ranked rushing attack in the country led by the tandem of John Clay and James White.

Clay has 796 yards and a 5.9 yards per carry average with 11 touchdowns while White has 560 yards and a 7.0 yards per carry average with 9 touchdowns.  Quarterback Scott Tolzien has a 71% completion rate and a 9.1 yards per pass average.

The Iowa Hawkeyes have a NCAA football wagering record of 5-1 straight up and 4-2 against the spread.  Iowa is coming off a 38-28 win at Michigan as 3.5 point road chalks.

Iowa has a well balanced offense that ranks 26th for scoring and a defense that is one of the best in college football that ranks 6th for points allowed and 7th against the rush, which is critical against Wisconsin.

Quarterback Richard Stanzi is averaging 10.2 yards per pass attempt with a sensational 13/2 touchdown/interception ratio.  Adam Robinson has 623 yards rushing and a 4.8 yards per carry average with 8 touchdowns.

This is a prime potential letdown spot for the Badgers after their huge emotional national TV home win over Ohio State.

Iowa has beaten the NCAA football odds in 4 out of their last 5 home games against Wisconsin.  The Hawkeyes have paid out in 7 of the last 8 meetings in this series overall.
