NCAA football odds were not beaten by Nebraska last week and now the Cornhuskers will look for a bounceback win with the NCAA betting lines.

Oklahoma State is ranked 14th in the BCS standings and hosts 16th ranked Nebraska on Saturday with a telecast on ABC set for 3:30 PM Eastern.  Sports-Gambling opened with Nebraska as a 5.5 point road favorite.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have a NCAA football gambling record of 5-1 straight up and 2-3-1 against the spread.  Nebraska is coming off a sloppy and disappointing 20-13 home loss against Texas in which they failed to cover as 10 point favorites.  Nebraska has gone over the total in 4 out of 6 games this year.

Husker quarterback Taylor Martinez was held in check against Texas with just 21 yards rushing on 13 attempts.  Martinez has 758 yards on the season with a 9.4 yards per carry average and 12 touchdowns.  Nebraska is ranked 4th in the nation for rushing and 15th for scoring.

Their defense has returned to the famed “Blackshirt” tradition and ranks 9th for points allowed.  Roy Helu has added 458 yards rushing and a 7.4 yards per carry average with 5 touchdowns.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have a NCAA football wagering record of 6-0 straight up and 5-1 against the spread.  The Pokes are coming off a 34-17 win at Texas Tech as 3 point dogs.  Okie State is the mirror opposite of Nebraska in that they rank 3rd in the country for passing.

Quarterback Brandon Weeden has a 69% completion rate with a 19/8 touchdown/interception ratio and an 8.7 yards per attempt average.  Justin Blackmon has been lights out as the top receiver with 57 catches for 955 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Not that the Cowboys cannot run as Kendall Hunter has 830 yards and a 6.1 yards per carry average to provide balance.  Although Oklahoma State ranks 92nd in the country for defense they do rank a decent 35th against the rush which is critical against the Big Red.

Oklahoma State has beaten the NCAA football odds in 5 out of the last 6 meetings in this series.  The two teams have gone under the total in 3 out of their last 4 meetings.
