NCAA football gambling handicappers will have their choice of two of the top passing attacks in the country and two top NCAA football wagering bowl contenders.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 PM Eastern Time and Sports-Gambling opened with Texas Tech as a 3.5 point favorite.  Fox Sports will telecast the game.

The #20 Oklahoma State Cowboys have a record of 5-0 straight up and 4-1 with the NCAA betting lines.  The Pokes have gone over the total in all 5 of their games.  Last week Okie State beat Louisiana Lafayette 54-28 as 24 point road favorites after trailing 21-17 at the half.

Brandon Weeden passed for 351 yards and 5 touchdowns while Kendall Hunter ran for 126 yards and a TD.  Justin Blackmon had a phenomenal performance with 13 catches for 190 yards and 2 scores.

Oklahoma State ranks 2nd in the country for scoring but just 88th for total defense, including 118th against the pass which is not a good recipe for success against Texas Tech.  Weeden is averaging 8.5 yards per pass attempt with a 69% completion rate and an 18/6 touchdown/interception ratio.

Hunter offers solid balance with 700 yards and a 6.4 yards per carry average.  Blackmon has a whopping 47 catches for 16 yards per reception and 11 touchdowns.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have a record of 3-2 straight up and 2-3 with the NCAA betting odds.  Tech has gone over the total in 4 out of 5 games this year.  Last week the Red Raiders scored a 45-38 win over Baylor at Dallas’ Cotton Bowl as 2 point chalks.  Taylor Potts passed for 462 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Tech ranks 17th in the country for scoring but 98th for points allowed and 114th against the pass.  Potts has completed 66% of his passes for a mediocre 6.8 yards per attempt and a solid 7/4 touchdown to interception ratio.

These two teams matchup incredibly well and even are close to being NCAA football gambling carbon copies of each other.  Home field may prove to be the difference as the host has gotten the money in 5 out of the last 6 matchups between the teams.  Texas Tech has paid out in 6 of their last 7 home games against the Pokes.
