NCAA football betting fans and gamblers respect both programs as winners and perennial bowl contenders and two of the top option attacks in college football betting.

Kickoff for this matchup is set for 2:35 PM Eastern and the game can be seen on Versus.  Sports-Gambling opened with Air Force as a 9.5 point favorite.

The Midshipmen of Navy have a college football gambling record of 2-1 straight up and 1-2 against the spread.  After a heartbreaking opening day 17-14 loss to Maryland that ended one yard short of paydirt the Middies beat Georgia Southern and then Louisiana Tech last week 37-23 as 3 point home favorites.

Navy has gone under the total in 2 out of 3 games this season.  The Midshipmen rank 9th in the country for rushing yardage and a surprising 13th in the nation for total defense.  Vince Murray leads the ground game with a 6.1 yards per carry average as quarterback Ricky Dobbs has struggled with a 2.4 yards per carry average.

Dobbs was the man that Maryland stopped just short of the goal line when Navy decided to forgo a field goal attempt to send the matchup into overtime.  Navy doesn’t throw often but when they do it often comes up big as Dobbs is averaging over 12 yards per passing attempt.

The Air Force Falcons have a NCAA football gambling record of 3-1 straight up and 2-2 against the spread with 3 out of their 4 games going under the total.  Air Force is coming off a hard fought 20-14 win at Wyoming in which they failed to cover as 13.5 point road favorites.

The Falcons have the top ground attack in the country and gave Oklahoma a big scare in a 27-24 loss as 16.5 point road dogs to prove their ability against the best in the nation.  Quarter back Tim Jefferson is averaging 6.5 yards per carry while Jared Tew has 4.8 yards per rush and Asher Clark has 6.4 yards per carry.

Air Force has covered just 1 out of their last 11 NCAA football betting matchups with Navy and has failed to get the money 7 straight times against the Middies.
