NCAA betting odds have dropped in value for the Florida State Seminoles as they are coming back down to earth with the NCAA betting lines after a hot start.

Florida State will host Clemson in a key Atlantic Coast Conference Atlantic Division matchup that will be telecast on ABC beginning at 8 PM ET.  Sports-Gambling opened with Florida State as a 7.5 point favorite.

Florida State leads the Atlantic Division with a 4-2 conference record while Clemson is 3-3 in the ACC.  Maryland and North Carolina State are 3-2 and sandwiched between the Seminoles and Tigers to make for a highly competitive race.

Florida State has a college football betting record of 6-3 straight up and 5-4 against the spread with 5 of their games going under the total.  The Seminoles are in a 2 game losing streak as they lost last week at home against North Carolina 37-35 as they missed a game winning field goal attempt at the gun.

Florida State has shown marked improvement in Jimbo Fisher’s first year as head coach and ranks 28th in scoring offense and 27th in scoring defense.  Christian Ponder has a 62% completion rate with 1647 yards passing and a 16/7 touchdown/interception ratio.

The Seminoles have a great ground attack as Chris Thompson has rushed for 534 yards and a 7.4 yards per carry average, Jermaine Thomas has 480 yards with a 5.9 yards per carry average, and Ty Jones has 426 yards with a 7.6 yards per carry average.

The Clemson Tigers have a college football gambling record of 5-4 straight up and 3-6 against the spread with 7 of their games going under the total.  Clemson has won 3 of their last 4 games and is coming off a 14-13 home win over North Carolina State but failed to cover as 3.5 point home chalks.

The Tigers have won 3 of their last 4 games, all in conference.  Offense has been the weakness of the Tigers as they rank 89th in the nation overall, but a solid 12th for scoring defense.

The home team has covered a phenomenal 11 times out of 12 with the NCAA betting odds in this head to head series and has gone over the total 5 consecutive times at FSU.
