College football odds could bring value to the Michigan Wolverines as they have shown improvement with the college football lines and are bowl bound for the first time since 2007.

In Saturday Big Ten Conference action the Michigan Wolverines will host the #7 Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday with an ESPN kickoff of noon Eastern Time.  Sports-Gambling opened with Wisconsin as a 5.5 point favorite.  Both teams are bowl eligible and Wisconsin is still in contention for the BCS title game.

Wisconsin has a college football gambling record of 9-1 straight up and 5-5 against the spread with just 3 of their games going under the number.  The Badgers are coming off a somewhat controversial 83-20 home payout over Indiana as they were accused by some of running up the score.

Wisconsin ranks 12th in the nation for rushing and 8th for scoring on offense.  Their defense ranks 23rd for points allowed.

The Badgers are riding a 5 game winning streak heading into this matchup and are 5-1 in Big Ten Conference play, which puts them in a first place tie with Michigan State, (who defeated Wisconsin), and Ohio State, (who the Badgers defeated).

Quarterback Scott Tolzien is having a fine senior season with a 73% completion rate, 8.9 yards per attempt, and a 12/5 touchdown/interception ratio.  John Clay has rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns with James White accounting for 714 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns.

Michigan has a NCAA football wagering record of 7-3 straight up although they are just 3-7 against the spread.  The Wolverines have gone over the total in 6 out of 10 games.  Michigan ranks 5th overall for total offense but 100th for total defense.

The Wolverines are coming off a 27-16 win at Purdue last week for the 2nd straight win.  Quarterback Denard Robinson has 1990 yards passing and 1417 yards rushing to lead the offense.  Robinson has a 14/9 TD/INT ratio.

Michigan has covered the college football odds in just 1 of their last 8 head to head meetings with Wisconsin although the visitor has failed to cover the last 5 meetings.  The favorite has paid out in just 1 of the last 8 meetings in this series.  Wisconsin pummeled Michigan last year 45-24 as the series went over the total for the third straight time.
