College football gambling fans were also reminded that the Ohio State Buckeyes may very well be the best one loss team in all of NCAA football gambling.

The #8 Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday with a kickoff time of noon ET and a telecast on ABC.  Sports-Gambling opened with Ohio State as a 18 point favorite.

Michigan has a record of 7-4 straight up and 3-8 with the college football lines with 7 of their games going over the total.  Michigan was exposed as nothing more than a minor tier bowl team last week in their 48-28 home loss to Big Ten leader Wisconsin.

The Michigan defense has been an embarrassment all season and ranks 112th in the nation overall.  The defense has wasted the efforts of an outstanding offensive effort that has Michigan ranked 5th overall in the country.

Quarterbacking sensation Denard Robinson has 2229 yards passing and 1538 yards rushing but has not been quite as phenomenal or effective as he was in September.

While coach Rich Rodriguez will bowl for the first time in 3 seasons at UM he is likely to be facing the prospect of changing his defensive staff in order to take the next step towards being a true contender.

Ohio State has a record of 10-1 straight up and 8-2-1 with the college football odds as just 3 of their games have gone under the total.  Ohio State is coming off a strong and tough 20-17 win at Iowa as they pushed against the odds.  The Buckeyes rank 9th in the nation for scoring offense and 3rd in the nation for defense.

The Ohio State defense ranks in the top 5 of all major categories.  Quarterback Terrelle Pryoror has 2331 yards passing with a 23/10 touchdown/interception ratio and he is second on the team with 590 yards rushing as Daniel Herron leads with 893 yards on the ground with 14 touchdowns.

The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last 5 college football gambling matchups in this series and Ohio State has paid out in 5 of their last 6 against Michigan with 5 of the last 7 meetings going over the total.
