College football betting respect has grown for the Baylor Bears as they will be bowling in 2010 and have shown the ability to bring exceptional college football gambling value.

The Baylor Bears will host the #14 Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday night with an  ESPN2 telecast set to start at 8 PM Eastern Time.  Sports-Gambling opened with Oklahoma as a 7.5 point favorite.

The Oklahoma Sooners have a record of 8-2 straight up and 5-5 with the NCAA betting odds as 6 of their games have gone under the total.  Oklahoma is coming off a 45-7 home payout over Texas Tech which followed a 33-19 loss at Texas A&M.

The Sooners have failed to pay out in all 3 of their previous away games this year and lost straight up at Missouri last month.  Oklahoma ranks 11th overall for total offense and 4th in the nation for passing as quarterback Landry Jones has completed 67% of his passes for 3154 yards and a 27/6 touchdown/interception ratio.

DeMarco Murray offers balance to the attack with 911 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns.  Ryan Broyles has 1196 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.  The defense ranks 60th overall in the nation although a respectable 27th for points allowed.

OU must win this game to have a shot at the Big 12 South Division title as they will play at division leading Oklahoma State next week.

The Baylor Bears have a record of 7-4 straight up and 5-6 with the NCAA betting lines as 7 of their games have gone over the total.  Baylor is coming off a 42-30 home loss to Texas A&M which followed a 55-28 blowout loss at Oklahoma State.  The Bears rank 9th in the nation for offense but 97th for overall defense.
