College Football Gambling - East Carolina vs Tulsa

College football gambling turns its attention to Conference USA in a rematch of last year’s championship game with the NCAA odds as Tulsa hosts East Carolina.

College football gambling has been up and down on both teams this year but they are both very much alive in the quest for post season action with the NCAA odds. The East Carolina Pirates have a college football gambling record of 5-4 straight up and 3-5 with the NCAA odds.

Last week East Carolina suffered a 3-16 home loss to Virginia Tech as 12.5-point home dogs.  The Pirates have a college football gambling record of 2-3 with the NCAA odds in road action.

The good news for East Carolina is that they have a college football gambling record of 4-1 straight up in conference play and lead the CUSA East Division standings.  Coach Skip Holtz is focused on the college football gambling road ahead.  “We have an awful lot to play for,” said Holtz.

“We’re still 4-1 and we’ll let all this talk go out from underneath us, find out what we have to do in the final three games, and go to Tulsa on Sunday night.”  The Tulsa Golden Hurricane is coming off a devastating 45-46 home loss to Houston in which they covered the college football gambling spread as 1.5-point home dogs.

The Golden Hurricane led 46-38 in the final seconds before allowing a touchdown, fumbling the ensuing onside kick, and then allowing a 51-yard field goal at the gun to blow the game.  “They’re devastated as much as I am,” said coach Todd Graham.  “I told them that I haven’t been more proud of a group of guys than this group.”

Tulsa has a college football gambling home record of 3-1 against the spread and has gone under the total in 8 out of 9 games this year.  Tulsa is now facing the prospect of having to run the college football gambling table to make a bowl game this year.  “We’ve got three games left, and we’ve got to win those to go to a bowl,” said quarterback GJ Kinne.

Last year in the CUSA title game East Carolina beat Tulsa 27-24 but failed to cover the college football gambling line as 12.5-point chalks.  East Carolina has been a poor college football gambling value on the road with just 3 payouts in their last 13 games while Tulsa has covered 11 out of their last 13 games at home.
