March Madness betting line excitement is high for the SEC Tournament as Kentucky is not at all a forgone conclusion and there will be desperate teams needing to run the table in order to see further March Madness bet action.

The Southeastern Conference Tournament will take place starting March 10 and run through March 13 from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA.  Be sure to have your Sports Gambling account open and ready for action on this and all other post season college basketball tournaments.

Of course any conversation about the Southeastern Conference will begin with the Kentucky Wildcats even though they were not even close to winning their own division this year.

Kentucky had a record of 21-8 straight up and was 9-6 in Southeastern Conference play while going 10-13-1 against the spread to indicate that they may not bring a lot of board value with the March Madness odds.

Florida easily won the East Division of the SEC over Kentucky as the Gators were 23-6 straight up and 11-13-1 against the spread.  The Gators have two national championships this decade and are a proven basketball betting madness March commodity that does not flinch in the post season against the best teams.

The East Division was far and away superior to the West in the SEC this year as Vanderbilt and Georgia also put together fine seasons.  Vandy was 21-8 straight up and 9-6 in SEC action while proving to be a consistently good value with a mark of 15-9-1 against the spread.

Georgia was 20-9 straight up and 9-6 in the SEC with a mark of 12-13 against the spread.

From the West Division Alabama was the top team by far with a record of 19-10 straight up and 11-4 in the SEC while going 13-12 against the spread.  The Tide suffered a blowout loss at Florida last week which means that they are likely going to have to win this tournament to have any shot at appearing on the “Big Dance” March Madness betting line board.

Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Ole Miss are inconsistent wild cards from the West Division.
