March Madness Betting - Ole Miss Hoop Rebellion

March Madness betting and the Ole Miss Rebels are not synonymous with success or tradition with handicappers of the March Madness betting line.

March Madness betting traditions are changing, however, as Mississippi has made it to the March Madness betting line board as a NIT semi-finalist that will match up with Dayton. Ole Miss began their March Madness betting run in the NIT with a strong 84-65 home win over Troy as 13-point favorites for an easy payout for those who bet on March Madness with them.

Terrico White was lights out for Ole Miss as he burned the nets for 27 points and also had 7 rebounds.  Chris Warren was an asset as well with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.  In the second round of NIT March Madness betting action Ole Miss scored a 90-81 home win over Memphis as 4-point chalks.

White was again the leading scorer with 21 points.  Warren was strong again as well with 16 points and 7 assists.  Zach Graham was another March Madness betting asset for Ole Miss as he contributed 19 points.

The Rebels shot 50% from the floor.  Ole Miss scored a March Madness betting thriller in the third round of the NIT with a 90-87 overtime win over Texas Tech but failed to get the money as 9-point favorites.  Warren had 22 points, while White and Murphy Holloway had 17.

Holloway had 11 rebounds for the Rebels.  Ole Miss was one of the top scoring teams in the country as they ranked in the upper five percent nationally while their defense was in the bottom third for points permitted in the country.  Warren is the Rebels leading scorer with 17.3 points per game while White is averaging 15 points per game.

Holloway is the leading rebounder with just under 8 per game.  Ole Miss is 24-10 straight up and 18-11-1 against the spread including 9-3 against the number away from home.  The Rebels have gotten the money in 6 out of their last 8 games.
