March Madness Betting From the Shadows at Sports Gambling

March Madness betting always sees teams emerge from the shadows to produce profits against the March Madness odds.

March Madness betting handicappers would do well to look at teams that may not have met their full potential that may later be realized against the March Madness odds.  The 2009 Ohio State Buckeyes could very well be such a March Madness betting commodity.

Ohio State is a program with plenty of past success against the March Madness odds.  The Buckeyes are a stable program, well coached, and yet did not have a particularly strong season this year.

Such teams often make for exceptional March Madness betting values because they have high standards and good recruiting classes that some times come of age at the height of March Madness betting.  Despite what was considered a “down” year the Buckeyes still stood at 19-9 straight up and were 14-10 against the spread.

Ohio State could make for a team that merited strong consideration as a value-added March Madness betting possibility that may emerge as a surprise.  The Stanford Cardinal is another such team.  Like Ohio State, Stanford is no stranger to March Madness betting success.

The Cardinal has had a tradition of being a threat against the March Madness odds for many years now.  Stanford is in the tough pac-10 conference which only enhances their March Madness betting potential since they have been seasoned against great competition.

Stanford held their own with a mark of 16-11 straight up and 15-9 against the spread and would be the type of team that could bring better than expected March Madness betting value in the pac-10 tourney and beyond.

George Mason was the ultimate Cinderella Team a few years back and they still look to be a March Madness betting value that could gain prominence and success.  George Mason was 20-9 straight up and 14-9 against the spread and are still inspired by their 2006 Final Four run.

Butler may have cooled off recently but their mark of 25-4 straight up and 16-10 against the spread demonstrates their March Madness betting potential.
