March Madness Bet South Region Preview at Sports Gambling

March Madness bet handicappers will have traditional power North Carolina as the number one seed on the south March Madness schedule.

March Madness bet fans will also look at 2-Oklahoma, 3-Syracuse, and 4-Gonzaga as the best teams on the east March Madness schedule.  Even a botched effort in their conference tourney could not prevent North Carolina from being a March Madness bet favorite.

The Tar Heels made the Final Four last year and will draw Radford in the first round of the south March Madness schedule.  Oklahoma was ranked near the top of the rankings for most of the season but did not finish strong and doesn’t have a lot of March Madness bet momentum for their opening round game against Morgan State.

Syracuse had a highly productive marathon run in the Big East tournament and has an opening round March Madness bet matchup with Stephen F. Austin.  The big March Madness bet question regarding the Orange is if they have any gas left in their tank after their grueling run in the Big East.

Gonzaga had another strong run and will face Akron of the Mid American Conference in the first round.  The Zags were mentioned on the CBS selection show as a dangerous team with a lot of potential in this year’s “dance”.

Other south March Madness bet matchups include 8-LSU/9-Butler, 5-Illinois/12-Western Kentucky, 6-Arizona State/11-Temple, and 7-Clemson/10-Michigan.  One of the most interesting matchups on the March Madness schedule is LSU/Butler.  Both teams had strong regular seasons but slipped up in their conference tournaments.

There will be a lot of talent and ability on the floor for this March Madness bet pairing.  Illinois is a potential March Madness bet sleeper as they had a strong year in the Big Ten.  Arizona State is thrilled to put on their “dance shoes” and their March Madness bet matchup against Temple could be one of the best and most even matchups on the board.

Michigan is another program that is happy to be “dancing” again after a long layoff of several years.  Their March Madness bet matchup with Clemson won’t be easy, however, as the Tigers were one of the toughest teams in the ACC.
