March Madness Bet Profits Potentially “Bruin” at Sports Gambling

March Madness bet fans have always had a lot of respect for UCLA. The Bruins are one of the elite teams to bet March Madness with.

March Madness bet handicappers respect how coach Ben Holland has again made the Bruins a threat to bet March Madness action on.  UCLA’s March Madness bet success began to be re-established in 2006 as they made it all the way to the Final Four.

While UCLA was an obvious March Madness bet favorite to go far, it was far from unanimous that they would go all the way to the title game.  The 2006 Bruins earned their first March Madness bet payoff with a 78-44 blowout win over Belmont as 16.5-point chalks.

That was then followed up, incredibly enough; with back-to-back March Madness bet losses in straight up wins over Alabama and Gonzaga.  This actually demonstrated the Bruins great appeal with those who bet March Madness as just the slightest bit of success draws a lot of cash their way.

UCLA rewarded gamblers with a March Madness bet win in the “Elite Eight” round against Memphis to make the Final Four.  They then clobbered LSU for an easy March Madness bet payoff before losing to Florida in the title game 57-73 as a 1-point dog.

In 2007 March Madness bet action the “Big Dance” expectations of UCLA were beyond belief as Holland was being proclaimed the second “Wizard of Westwood”.  UCLA picked right up where they left off in 2006 with a blowout win and cover over Weber State.

They then beat Indiana but failed to cover.  Next, however, were back-to-back March Madness bet payoffs in straight up wins over Pittsburgh and Kansas to earn their second consecutive berth in the Elite Eight.

In a classic matchup for everyone that loves to bet March Madness the Bruins were 2-point dogs against the Jayhawks and won 66-76 to make the Final Four for the second consecutive season.  In a March Madness bet rematch against Florida the Bruins again lost 66-76 as 3-point dogs but not before delivering a March Madness profit.

UCLA’s value has begun to erode, however, as in 2008 they went 2-3 against the spread in NCAA tourney action as they are once again a “public” team.  Value evaluation will be paramount for UCLA games in March Madness 2009 and their public appeal may damage that value.
