March Madness Bet on Xavier at Sports Gambling

March Madness A-10 bet success is now best associated with the Xavier Musketeers.  Last year Xavier was a huge value for those who bet March Madness.  Long time March Madness bet handicappers know that Xavier has long been a power in the Atlantic 10 conference and have taken advantage of that against the better known teams from the so-called “major” conferences.

Xavier really took advantage of their underrated status last year as they got a rather easy victory in their opening round game over Georgia 73-61 as 8.5-point chalks for an easy bet March Madness payoff.  While Georgia could not be considered a power team they still had the hot hand and were from the highly respected southeastern conference.

Next in March Madness bet action the Musketeers drew Purdue and scored an 85-78 win and cover as 2.5-point chalks over the Big Ten Boilermakers.

Now the Musketeers were beginning to attract March Madness bet respect and attention as they entered “Sweet Sixteen” action against the upstart West Virginia Mountaineers, who Xavier defeated 79-75 in an overtime thriller as 1.5-point dogs.

At this point in the “Elite Eight” Xavier lost all March Madness bet value as they were only a 6-point dog against UCLA and lost 57-76 to finish the “Big Dance” a most profitable 3-1 against the spread.

A great March Madness bet irony is that the one place Xavier commands a lot of respect from those who bet March Madness is in the Atlantic 10 tournament.

As a big favorite in both of their games against Dayton and St. Joseph’s they failed to cover either game as the Musketeers were the March Madness bet hunted rather than their normal role of hunter.
