March Madness Bet Gator Chomps at Sports Gambling

March Madness bet success has been synonymous with Florida since their 2000 Final Four appearance that surprised everyone that bet March Madness.

March Madness bet handicappers have since stopped being surprised at the Gators as Florida is now a prime team to bet March Madness with. Back in 2000, however, the Florida Gators were not on many March Madness bet lists.

They were from a “football school” and did not have a particularly stellar reputation with the March Madness bet community. This obviously gave them the element of surprise and they became a hot commodity that operated under the March Madness bet radar screen.

Florida won four out of their six March Madness bet appearances and ended up in the NCAA title game where they lost and failed to cover against Michigan State. Interestingly enough Florida was immediately made into an “A-List” team with those who bet March Madness and they had very little post season success the next five years.

Once again they became a team that would operate under the radar and without a great deal of public March Madness bet support.

In 2006 the Gators made their move and were once again a great March Madness bet value as they won and covered all six of their dates in the “Big Dance” with a climatic March Madness bet victory over UCLA in the national title game.

In 2007 the Gators were no longer going to be a March Madness bet surprise as now everyone was on to them. This would serve to potentially weaken their value with those who bet March Madness on them as it was possible to again be a “day late and a dollar short” with the Gators as is often the case with teams the year after they win a title.

Florida won their first three games in the 2007 NCAA tournament but covered only one of those against the March Madness bet board before catching fire and going a perfect 3-0 both straight up and against the spread to win the national title for the second consecutive year, this time over Ohio State.

The Gators are a classic example of how a non-traditional basketball school can make March Madness cash consistently.
