Bet March Madness handicappers have seen Cal compile a March Madness gambling record of 18-9 straight up and 14-12 against the spread, including 9-4 against the board at home. Cal’s bet March Madness strength is an explosive offense that ranked in the upper tenth of March Madness gambling for scoring.
Their defense has been just good enough to beat the March Madness odds as it ranked in the middle of the national pack. Guard Jerome Randle is the man that makes Cal a threat with those who bet March Madness.
Randle led Cal in scoring with an average of 19.2 points per game and also led the Bears in assists with 4.5 per game to make himself one of the leading bet March Madness assets in the country. Despite the fine record and inside track to bet March Madness action Cal has been inconsistent at times.
Their latest debacle was a February 18 loss at Oregon State by a score of 64-80 as 6-point favorites. To Cal’s credit they did bounce back in their following game with a nice bet March Madness win at Oregon 64-49 as 6.5-point chalks.
Coach Mike Montgomery, who had previous bet March Madness success at cross town rival Stanford, has done a masterful job of rebuilding the program as a contender. Still, Cal has concerned many that bet March Madness with that inconsistency in which they have failed to put together a four-game winning streak all season.
Montgomery has been impressed with his team’s resiliency this year. “We bounce back, that’s what we do,” said the coach. “This has been a team that it’s been hard to keep them at a certain level all the time. There’s little things we could have done, and we just caved in to stuff.”
An important win for Montgomery’s program this year for image and credibility was a 72-58 win at UCLA on February 6.
